Tamil Nadu State Chess Association proposes to organise the examination for the title of State Arbiter at the following three Districts / dates / Venues mentioned below:
17.03.2024 – Erode
24.03.2024 – Chennai & Sivagangai
Any chess enthusiast from Tamil Nadu State with knowledge in the game of Chess and willing to serve as arbiter in state level chess tournaments is eligible to apply. The participants must have completed 18 years of age on the date of the Examination.
The filled application form (click here to download Application-Form 2024) along with filled Gform (Gform link : https://forms.gle/Ga4KPWM2QGmdRe8a8 ) should reach Tamil Nadu State Chess Association Hall No. 75, Sydenhams Road, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Periamet, Chennai – 600 003 with should be submitted on or before 5.00 pm on 13th March, 2024 for Erode centre and 20th March 2024 for Chennai & Sivagangai centres.
ALL THE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY AFTER THE APPROVAL OF THE RESPECTIVE DISTRICT CHESS ASSOCIATION OF THE CANDIDATE.
A doubt clearing session by two International Arbiters will be held in the morning, followed by an examination in the afternoon.
Reporting & registration: 9.00 AM
Doubt clearing session: 09.30 AM
Examination: 02.30 to 04.30 PM
Those who are successful in the examination, the arbiter registration with TNSCA is compulsory. Passed candidates will be awarded the title of Tamil nadu State Arbiter certificate.
Lunch / refreshments will be provided to all participants.
Application fee : Rs.1000/- per candidate.

The examination will be of two hours duration, other details will be posted shortly. The course material has to be downloaded by the participants from https://tamilchess.com/ . The participants are instructed to prepare well before attending the doubt clearing session.
